I am a social anthropologist with different areas of research interest: artificial life, genome editing, and recombinant DNA; computing life, biological computers, social robotics and affective computing; visual methodologies, and fine art in connection with technologies, BioArt, SciArt. Currently I am working as an Assistant Professor, in the Social Anthropology Program, Department of Sociology, Masaryk University in Brno, Czech Republic. As a postdoc, I was recently involved in a Marie Skłodowska Curie Action project focused on life engineering, particularly on recombinant and editing DNA technologies – ARTENGINE_ Artificial Life – Anthropological and Sociological Analysis of Life Engineering, H2020, no. 7088, Goethe University. I am a member in the informal lab group LaSST, Laboratory for Studies of Science and Technology, based at Goethe University.
